Garry's Mod - Without steam

If you dont know what Garry's mod is, here's a brief: Its a mod made for Half-Life 2, but now its its own game, which builds around on its engine. Altought it supports deathmatch and all that, technically all the players can just "play". Its an ultimate sandbox where everyone can build stuff, create stuff, kill stuff...etc. There's also tons of mods available; maps, weapons, ragdolls, skins, technical-mumbo-jumbo, etc. to spice up things.

Looking up trought the torrent search, you can see that there's a steam-free Garry's mod available. Its a ISO which has fully working Garry's mod. Now, as its steam free, its natural that the online game wont work.

However, LAN game still works.

So, with patience, trying and such, I bet we can have some fun with this on Hamachi. You guys look up for steam-free Gmod 10 and we'll talk more.

How about passing a decent torrent link to us then?

Spares us the hassle of searching trough potentially dangerous torrents. Wink

Its only 677 megabytes big, because its a heavily compressed ISO. Mount it and install (it takes a lot of time). The real game takes about 2.36 GB.

Im relatively sure this is safe. Im using Avast and it didnt detect any major threads while installing or running the game.

However, Im having trouble getting this to work. When I run the Garry's mod, nothing seems to happen. Am I missing something?
